Craig A. Miller
Vice President and General Manager, LibreDigital Division
Mr. Miller’s responsibilities include management of the LibreDigital Division and NewsStand corporate business development. He has more than 17 years experience in strategic product development and marketing in the hi-tech sector, including seven years in business development management for Internet-based technology companies. A proven builder and leader of dynamic teams, his strengths include creating technology solutions for new channels and applications, concept-to-sale product management and contract sales and negotiations.
Prior to NewsStand, Craig was U.S. Director of Marketing and Business Development for Munich-based DynaPel, which focused on advancing motion enabled MPEG4 CODECs in the security, video and graphics industry. He served as the Head of Engineering for STB’s Specialized Technology Division, creating multi-port graphics cards and video decoders including the TV Guide Channel’s broadcast-quality MPEG2 board. Craig also served as Analog Device’s Graphics Products Marketing Manager, and was a key member of Compaq’s Strategic Technology Development engineering team.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston Executive Program.
Todd Eckler
Vice President Sales, North America
Todd Eckler has more than 10 years of executive management, sales, business development and international experience in technology companies. Throughout the past decade, Mr. Eckler’s efforts have helped drive the adoption of next-generation technologies that serve as the backbone for today’s digital publishing systems.
In his role as Vice President of North America Sales, Mr. Eckler is spearheading the growth for the company’s ground-breaking digital warehousing systems, used by leading book publishers, such as HarperCollins and LibreDigital, to bring books into the digital age. Prior to joining LibreDigital, Mr. Eckler served as Senior Vice President at North Plains Systems Corporation, where he helped to set product strategy and to grow the company’s sales revenues to over $12 million by selling software systems to publishers, including many of the top names in book publishing. Previously, Mr. Eckler served in management positions at Marcus Technology and at Archetype, Inc.
Ernst Kallus
Vice President Sales, International
Ernst Kallus serves as Vice President of European Sales for LibreDigital. In that role, Mr. Kallus directs LibreDigital’s European operations from the Company’s registered London presence and is championing the company’s rapid expansion in the European marketplace. Ernst brings a remarkable level of experience, knowledge, and understanding of technology for the publishing industry.
Mr. Kallus came to LibreDigital from Value Chain International / Digital Publishing Solutions Ltd (DPSL), a developer of services for the creation, delivery, and management of online published content for publishers globally. In his role as General Manager of DPSL, Ernst managed on-shore and off-shore service teams and helped the company triple its revenues in just over two years.
Mr. Kallus was previously a founding director at The Kappa Consultancy, a provider of sales & marketing due diligence to the Venture Capital community. He also served as a the head of Knowledge Solutions at Realise Group, a provider of software and consulting sales to the banking, leisure and investment marketplace. Mr. Kallus has previously held senior management positions at Orbital Software, Vision Consulting, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
