Summary:

The Customer Satisfaction Manager will lead LibreDigital’s integrated customer service operations for all products and customers. The primary objective of this role is to maximize performance of all to deliver a superior experience for all our publishers to achieve top performance and deliver a seamless customer experience. This position will work to understand and solve complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller pieces. This position reports to the VP of Marketing, with an existing team that currently handles service.

Responsibilities

- Provides leadership and partners with customer, partners and all facets of LibreDigital. Includes closely monitoring center and employee performance management, identifying issues and working with local teams for recommended solutions

- Identifies, analyzes, develops and recommends plans for increased customer service performance with both local center and corporate teams

Requirements
- Extensive experience with customer service and contact center leadership

Production Engineer Job Description:
- Operates and monitors the LibreDigital periodical production process. Duties include both Production control and publisher technical support.
- As Primary PE, assumes responsibilities (as described below) for all assigned publications.
Primary Production Duties:
- Preflight content data submitted to LibreDigital by publisher partners and prepare that data for the production process.
- Advise partners in preparing data for transmission and resolve issues regarding data delivery, formatting, and quality.
- Review content as it arrives, repair the content or obtain new content from the publisher, create LibreDigital proprietary files and submit the prepared content to the production process. Monitor entire process and ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Resolve issues regarding customer data delivery, data format, data quality, cross platform file conversion, color separation, image quality and font troubleshooting.
- Adhere to LibreDigital standards for quantity of content required to publish.
- Provide feedback to publishers and appropriate Sales Rep or Account Manager, in the form of a standard Production Report, detailing issues or problems encountered while processing a publication.
- Provide other standard reports as required.
- Follow internal LibreDigital escalation procedures for any problems (software or hardware) encountered while processing a publication
- Follow standard LibreDigital guidelines as appropriate for system problems, or to request enhancements.
- Provide post-sales technical support and training to publisher partners in the use of the LibreDigital software application suite, as well as Adobe Distiller and Acrobat.
Primary PE Responsibilities:
All Production Engineers will be assigned certain publications for which they will have primary responsibility. The overall goal is to automate as much as possible so as to reduce the necessity for manual intervention in the processing of a publication. In addition to establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with the publisher’s technical contacts, the Primary PE will be expected to:
- Keep contact information and escalation document updated in designated locations and keep the department apprised of any changes.
- Update appropriate sales reps or account managers on any technical problems either with the integrity of the delivered content or any bugs that are reported that pertain to their accounts.
- Keep CM updated with current issue requirements, DRMs, automatic e-mail notifications, publisher contacts, crop values, and any other settings that pertain to the production process.
- Maintain ranking of primary publications, detailing barriers to full automation and steps needed to overcome those barriers.
- Develop plan and timetable to address those barriers for each assigned publication.
- Solicit assistance as needed either from PE’s on a different shift, or a publication’s sales rep or account manager, or development departments (bugzila), or your own managers.
- Provide a bi-weekly status report on primary publications. If a publication is not fully automated, detail steps to be taken to achieve automation and any progress since last report.
Required technical skills include working knowledge of the following:
- data protocols: tcp/ip, ftp, http.
- data formats: html, pdf, dcs, eps, xml, swf and tiff.
- operating systems: Unix/Linux, Windows, MacOS.
- Applications: Quark Xpress, Adobe Distiller, Photoshop, Acrobat
Desired experience:
5 + years work experience in publishing pre-press preferably using pdf workflow. Detail oriented individual with ability to multi task, maintaining quality standards while meeting deadlines.
