Tom Lavey Named Executive Vice President
AUSTIN, Texas – March 23, 2010 – LibreDigital, the leading developer of e-distribution and marketing technologies for publishers, today announced that it appointed former Oracle executive Tom Lavey to the position of executive vice president of Worldwide Sales. In his new role, Mr. Lavey will help guide the company through a phase of rapid expansion as it supports the world’s largest publishing and consumer electronics companies in their efforts to deliver digital content across a new generation of e-reading devices.

Tom Lavey most recently served as a sales and business strategy consultant with Sales Scale Partners, where he worked with early-stage ventures such as Transcepta, Callidus, Retail Solutions, and Nimblefish. Previously, he held executive sales positions at top technology firms, including Taleo Corporation, Extricity Software/Peregrine Systems and i2 Technologies. Mr. Lavey also led application sales at Oracle Corporation, where he grew revenues from $40 million to more than $500 million in five years. He has also held executive positions at Minx Software, Ask Computer Systems and Xerox Corporation.
