Formats and the LDW

The LibreDigital Internet Digital Warehouse for Publishers (LDW) is a hosted solution designed specifically to solve the digital dilemma for publishers.

    • The LDW saves money because it eliminates the need for publishers to create, maintain and regulate their own repository.
    • The LDW makes it east to populate websites with content to vend.
    • The LDW automates the production and delivery of clips or snippets with full controls.
    • The LDW can support any device type, now and in the future.
    • The LDW handles large-scale digitization projects.
    • The LDW provides a digital solution for publishers of any size and who handle any media file types.

Digitize once, render endlessly, free of formatting issues

It is puzzling that file formats can be so problematic for Book Publishers, but competing standards and the emergence of new eReaders make Publishers painfully aware of format requirements. The LibreDigital LDW solves the file format dilemma because once files have been ingested into the LDW, they can then be served up upon request and rendered out in the requested file format, without manual intervention.
